FRIENDS OF NEWPORT SKATEPARK
Friends of Newport Skatepark (FONS) is a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity organized for the purpose of advocating, designing, and fundraising for Newport, Rhode Island's newest skatepark. FONS acts as a centralized voice for Newport's skateboard community to city officials to ensure that a modern, world-class park is built. Including surf and skate icons Sid Abbruzzi and Donny Barley in its ranks, the passionate FONS team is on it's way to fundraising $1,000,000 for the creation of the park and Melon Helmets is committed to doing our part to help out.
